Each book in this series follows a different creature: the mouse, the praying mantis, the duck, the painted turtle, the earthworm, and the snail, from embryo to babyhood, reproduction, and adulthood. Students will learn about each creature's life span, physiology, and habitat as well as where each one fits into its larger ecosystem.
